The 2025 WagonR gets a major safety update. All variants now come with six airbags, ABS with EBD, hill hold assist, 3-point seatbelts for all passengers, and seatbelt reminders. These features make the WagonR one of the safest hatchbacks in India under ₹8 lakh.

- LXi MT – ₹5.64 lakh
- VXi MT / AGS – ₹6.10 lakh to ₹6.60 lakh
- ZXi MT / AGS – ₹6.80 lakh to ₹7.35 lakh
- CNG variants available in LXi and VXi trims
Compared to last year’s model, prices have gone up by around ₹13,000, but with 6 airbags and added safety, it’s totally worth it.
🚗 Still the Same Practical WagonR We Love
Other than the added safety, there are no changes in design or features. The 2025 WagonR continues with the same exterior look and interior layout. You still get a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay (wired), all 4 power windows, central locking, remote key, manual AC, and a spacious boot (especially in petrol variants).
⚙️ Engine & Mileage Options
The 2025 WagonR continues to offer two petrol engine options:
- 1.0L 3-cylinder petrol – 65 bhp
- 1.2L 4-cylinder petrol – 88 bhp
Gearbox options include 5-speed manual and AGS (AMT) for ease of driving in city traffic. Also, Maruti is offering factory-fitted CNG variants in LXi and VXi trims. All engines now comply with the latest BS6 Phase 2 OBD-2B emission norms.
